We wanted a tool that was powerful enough for complex projects but simple enough that anyone could use it. A tool that got out of your way and let you focus on what matters: building great products.

Our Story
Ouraboard was born in 2024 when our founding team, frustrated with existing project management tools, decided to build something better. We were tired of bloated software that required training sessions, complicated workflows that slowed teams down, and interfaces that felt stuck in the past.
We spent months talking to development teams, product managers, and designers to understand what they really needed. The answer was surprisingly simple: a tool that combines the flexibility of spreadsheets, the visual clarity of Kanban boards, and the power of modern issue tracking.
Today, Ouraboard is under active development as an independent project. We’re focused on building a fast, modern experience and improving it continuously based on real usage and feedback.

The name “Ouraboard”
The word “oura” is pronounced “oo-ra”. In Ouraboard, it reflects shared ownership — a board that belongs to the whole team.
The name is inspired by the idea of a calm harbor and steady flow: a safe place where work can live, evolve, and move forward without friction.
