Before you start
- The audit log is available on Team plan workspaces.
- Viewing it requires the audit log permission (OWNER and ADMIN by default).
- Open it under Workspace Settings → Audit log.
What it records
The audit log keeps a trail of recent workspace actions. Each entry shows:
- Who — the member who performed the action.
- What — the action, shown as a readable badge (settings changes, member and permission changes, integrations, and similar administrative activity).
- When — the timestamp.
- Details — relevant context for the action where available.
Typical uses
- Answering "who changed this setting?" without guesswork.
- Reviewing member and permission changes after onboarding/offboarding.
- Troubleshooting unexpected workspace behavior by checking recent administrative actions.
The audit log shows recent activity and is not a full data-change history. For per-member access control, see Permissions.
